X-Fonter служит для просмотра и быстрой инсталляции/деинсталляции шрифтов. Позволяет при отображении шрифтов настроить их цвет, стиль, размер (до 200 px), а также изменить цвет фона. Есть функции поиска шрифтов с поддержкой работы в сети и их сравнения в сдвоенном окне. Еще одна особенность X-Fonter - просмотр шрифтов в трехмерном представлении. КТак же есть возможность сохранить эти 3D-изображения и использовать их, например, на веб-страницах или в любых других электронных документах. Еще одна особенность - в программу встроен простенький редактор изображений, позволяющий, кроме прочего, создавать обьемные надписи.
